Do you know your cancer IQ?
Everyone’s risk of cancer, including lung cancer, is unique – our 5 to 10 minute survey can help you learn yours. Discover personalized insights and find out if lung cancer screening, along with other cancer screenings, could be beneficial for you.

Better understand your cancer risk factors so, together, we can prevent a late-stage diagnosis
Nebraska Medicine's Cancer Risk and Prevention team is dedicated to helping people understand their unique risk factors for developing cancer. By completing the cancer risk assessment questionnaire, our team of providers will work with you to develop an individualized path forward for every aspect of screening, prevention, care, or family support.

HOW IT WORKS
We use the most up-to-date clinical guidelines to determine your risk.
This isn't the paper form you're used to.
We've partnered with CancerIQ, a cancer risk assessment tool that integrates the most up-to-date risk models to identify your risk and how to reduce it, then generates a personalized care plan for you and your Nebraska Medicine provider to take action on.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Bring your personalized risk report to your next doctor's appointment
Your report will help you and your doctor better understand the hereditary, genetic, lifestyle, and familial risk factors that could increase your risk of cancer. Together, you can make a shared decision about the right next steps for you, including:
- Genetic Testing
- More Frequent Cancer Screenings
- Suggested Lifestyle Changes
“Our Cancer Risk and Prevention Clinic is the first of its kind in Nebraska and is designed to help our community know the risks, signs, and symptoms of cancer in order to detect it early or prevent it altogether. After you complete the cancer risk assessment, our multidisciplinary team will evaluate the results and develop a personalized prevention plan including various screenings, genetic evaluation, referrals to specialty providers, and access to cutting-edge clinical trials.”
